The Opower Blog (Re)-launches!

We are excited to announce that today we are (re)-launching the Opower Blog!

Some may be familiar with the existing HeyItsOpower.com blog, an awesome initiative by our engineering team to share their thoughts about code, big data, product development, and Opower culture.

In addition to continuing HeyItsOpower (now called “Opower Labs”), the re-launched blog will feature a new energy data-trends series called “Outlier.”

We’ll be diving into our unprecedented data set of ~40 million US homes worth of energy use information to discover cool data trends. We’ll discuss them here within the Outlier section. To get your juices flowing, do you think there’s a connection between the domain at which you receive e-mail and how much energy you use? You might be surprised what we found. Check back with us soon to read our first post in the Outlier series.
